“Don't be afraid! I know you're looking for Jesus, who was nailed to the cross. He isn't here! God has raised him to life, just as Jesus said he would!”
Matthew 28: 5-
And with those words from an angel began the most important event of the Christian faith. Many faiths believe Jesus existed, but only Christians believe he rose from the dead. There are three things we believe which make us Christians. We believe Jesus lived, died and rose again. That is why Easter is the most important day for the Christian faith. Many of us believe Christmas is the most important, but the resurrection is what makes us Christians, so Easter is most important.
But, we can't go from Palm Sunday to Easter. We have to walk through everything Jesus experienced from entering into Jerusalem to the crucifixion. S come out for Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, and Good Friday, and we will walk to the cross together and remember the great sacrifice Jesus made for us.
God Bless,
